The Roosevelts have dropped their second single entitled"Love in Color".
The Austin, Texas-based band delivers a shimmering love-laden, glossy record on this one. The newly rebranded band just recently added a new singer Mitchell Kilpatrick which led them to venture into a more contemporary pop/alternative direction. While the switch up is a far cry from their rock roots, the result is quite interesting. The record is about navigating relationships and the awkwardness of dating in this day and age where technology and social media profiles have taken over our lives. Nothing seems forced here as lead singer Kilpatrick seems to be at home with the lush pop melodies and he provides some catchy lyrics to complete the puzzle.
