KB "The Westside Dog" Devaughn is a songwriter & rapper who hails from the raw streets of Inglewood, California. KB's music career was initially inspired by his maternal grandfather, reowned session drummer James Gordon, who use to bring KB to his prolific recording studio, giving him an opportunity to begin making music at the tender age of 13. Fueling the desire to pursue his music career full-time, KB enrolled himself into Long Beach's Renaissance High School for the Arts' music program where he was able to master his craft and develop his own rugged but poetic sound. After numerous stints of working odd-job in between studio time, the now 24-year-old is ready to show the world who KB Devaughn really is.
Coming in hot following the recent release of his debut project, 4 me not u, a 10-track "playlist" that dropped in April of this year and showcased KB's versatility and unfiltered honesty. Now, KB is dropping a handful of music videos supporting 4 me not u, including the official video to "The Heart" featuring Buddy. The Isaiah Butler directed visual is a day in the life of KB Devaughn on a hot summer day in Inglewood, California, surrounded by family and a number of notable homies including Boogie, DezzieGee, and of course Buddy, as he delivers clever line after line.
