Lucy Lu pays homage to his hometown on this smooth record titled "Promise I Broke."
London based producer, musician, songwriter, and arranger Luke Bower aka Lucy Lu deliver the visual for his song tribute "Promise I Broke". The previously released record sees the talented act dive deep into his nu-jazz state of mind. On the tribute track, he makes use of dreamy soulful keys, jazz-tinged arrangements and of course his emotion-laden vocals to deliver his message. The song was inspired during a period when Luke thought he was going to leave London, it's a song about regret, longing, and ultimately acceptance.
The animated visual was crafted by animator and illustrator Joey Yu who brings the retrospective track to life in an abstract world of lines and warm colors. "Promise I Broke" is taken from Lucy Lu's recently released EP Lucy Lu Vol.1.
