Hey, so remember like a week ago when we turned you onto that fantastic new duo you can’t stop listening to over and over? While that was somewhat of a personal plug for how amazing our writing staff is on the regular, that little statement is more than just a vague (and accurate) general quip. And that is because a killer duo we covered a week or so ago has a new video out. Yup, you guessed it, Para Fiction is back.
The punk/ hip-hop duo out of Brighton making the rawest rap songs you’ve heard in a minute. Check out the video for their wild single, “W Y S X” below;
Like the song itself, the video for “W Y S X” is erratic. Throughout the flick, Jambo spits his furious verses to the camera when not riding outside of cars, shredding on guitar or drinking. Meanwhile, Fado spends his time mean muggin, posted in the background. It’s all very gritty and has a 90s vibe to it but not in a forced nostalgic way. Nope, instead, it sports a raw appeal that makes their music impossible to ignore.
No word on a full-length project from these guys, or even another single for that matter, but with a debut like “W Y S X” we’re bound to catch some new tunes soon. Until then, watch “W Y S X” above and keep it locked right here on EARMILK for all your music needs.
