NYC native MAAD used to be a model for high profile publications and brands such as Elle, L'Oreal, Seventeen and Maybelline, but she's made the pivot into music these past few years and it's working out really well.
Her single "Religion", which was produced by the Grammy-nominated GRADES (who's worked with the likes of Dua Lipa and Khalid) now has a beautifully directed visual and it's definitely worth checking out. Shot in an isolated desert space, the video shows MAAD and her lover in various shots against the harsh landscape. A contrast to the chill vibe of the song, the visual reinterprets the sensual nature of the song and somehow it got even cooler than it was before.
