The nights are getting longer, the days are getting warmer, and summer is almost here. There's been an abundance of music released over the past few weeks, that often gems might get lost in the middle of it. It's always the case that when a big artist drops a new track, or an album, that we let some talent slip under the radar. Well never fear, for we have an incredible new artists that's caught my own ears by surprise, introducing the supremely talented Love.
This week the Mancunian singer has dropped a brand new video on Manchester based label Awkward Music Group, for his track "3". The visuals, dedicated to one of his friends, are slick, with warm lighting tones, lighting Love's face, cut in with shots of MPC's & studio gear. The self produced instrumental is a warm, 808 backed banger, with shuffling hi hats and sharp synth lines setting the mood for this relaxed joint. Towards the end, the crooner switches his style up, showing his rapping skills with a tight verse and cold flow that has you nodding your head.
