AmirSaysNothing is a man of action. Originally hailing from Brooklyn, the 27 year old MC originally moved out to Los Angeles to pursue a career in skateboarding at 18, but then decided to pivot his full attention to rhyming in 2014. His earnest, "blue collar rap" style can best be explored in his 2016 debut album Employee Of The Month, in which Amir eschews grandiose stunt raps for more introspective slices of life. It is an semi-autobiographical account of a man working odd-jobs while trying to pursue his creative dreams that received praise from Noisey, Hip-hop DX, The Hundreds and even got co-signs from his long time idols turned peers Slug from Atmosphere, Killer Mike, and Evidence.
After taking a 2 year hiatus, Amir has re-emerged with a new ambitious EP called Love Always, Mr. Right. Today EARMILK has been given the opportunity to debut the visual for the project standout "Money Mi$$ion", directed by Dan Dealy. The single is a testament to the relentless dedication to his craft & his drive to be one of hip-hop's finest, and the video fully encapsulates Amir's hunger as he speeds throughout the city dropping clever line after line.
