Young rap hopeful Corey St.Rose brings a whole new vibe on his latest record, "Midnight Cruise". Over a jazz-influenced, laid back backdrop, the rapper puts his experiences on wax using vivid imagery and out the box references to boot. The rapper says he wrote the song shortly after his producer Tyeon Thompson laced the beat, it was all organic and nothing was pre-planned.
The visuals take the form of a minimalistic animation, it is somewhat leftfield but definitely enhances the message the Brooklyn based emcee is trying to convey.
