Channel Tres is a producer & songwriter based out of Lynwood, California who has been best known for his off-kilter funk hip-hop & R&B productions for other ascending artists such as Duckwrth, Rich Brian, and Kehlani, and as well as for being Duckwrth's main touring DJ.
But this year, Channel has decided to fully turn his focus to his own career by joining forces with rising record label GODMODE and releasing a debut solo single & video, entitled "Controller". The track is a dancefloor thumper heavily inspired by Detroit & Chicago house pioneers like Theo Parrish & Moodymann, but with Channel also layering his own vocals over the beat in a hypnotic, chant like rap style reminiscent of Galcher Lustwerk.
The vibrant video was directed & edited by Ian Goodwin and features Channel and his friends dancing and drumming along to the beat at various locations in South LA.
