Philadelphia rapper Corey Lee has been hard at work for the past year and a half. He released his debut album, A Shot in the Dark, in 2017 and has since been performing and occasionally releasing singles. He just dropped a song that is filled with witty references to modern culture including Goldlink's hit song "Crew," the Logic and Joyner Lucas beef, and 6ix9ine's adlibs. "October Intro" is a display of his slick flows and, more prominently, his clever lyricism. According to Lee, this is a possible introduction to his second album titled October Baby that is coming this summer. The track feels like the perfect introduction; it shows who he is as an artist while enticing the listener to want to hear more.
