Chuurch has released their sophomore Uunion EP on Skrillex's free imprint NEST, a dark electronic affair with sinister undertones meant to shake up the indie dance industry. With an initial catchphrase of "I'm in the club with a death wish" Uunion is sure to do just that.
The duo is pure underground, bringing influences from Golden Era hip-hop with coarse vocal hooks, loosely aggressive bass drums, and industrial dance tones. "This EP is a step outside the usual comfort zone of dance, we want people to embrace the dark side on this one," the duo said of Uunion.
Chuurch's break-out EP comes with a strong festival season tour this upcoming summer, beginning with a performance at legendary Colorado venue Red Rocks on July 3rd.
