New York-based duo Sofi Tukker have unleashed their new remix of TOKiMONSTA's "I Wish I Could (feat. Selah Sue)" and it is one soulful re-work, riddled with wavering bass lines and soulful reverb. The Grammy-nominated electro-pop group has made the tough crossover from dance act to mainstream staple in the industry with performances on TRL and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
And the duo has great timing for a remix of TOKiMONSTA AKA Jennifer Lee, who is fresh off a drama-filled release of her latest album Lune Rouge. The album was a long time coming since the legendary LA beatmaker was going through personal traumas, including a break-up and two brain surgeries.
Sofi Tukker has certainly done the track justice with their remix, paying homage to both Lee and their own talents.
