The fact that Smino is one of the dopest and most singular spitters on the M-I-C right now is becoming less and less of a secret. The eclectic St. Louis emcee continues to peddle auditory crack rock for us to graciously spoon up, this time dishing out some laid-back visuals for "Wild Irish Roses," a track you might remember from "Smeezy F Baby's" highly acclaimed 2017 project blkswn.
The lethargic steez on "Wild Irish Roses" puts listeners in a trance as Smino showcases what he does best, which is pretty much everything. Dude has bars, flow, an ear for tight production, and the ability to lay down a silky, sing-songy refrain to boot. The Jean Deaux-directed video is entertaining as well, interweaving cuts of Smino rapping inside dimly-lit rooms alongside seductresses with a hilarious liquor store robbery subplot.
After peeping out the new video, check out blkswn in its entirety and max out to a truly classic album.
