PLS&TY flips Jocelyn Alice's "I Know" from pop to future bass [Premiere]

Jocelyn Alice's no frills pop single, "I Know," has been ripe for remixing since being released in January.  Not a moment too soon, PLS&TY got a hold of it and filled in the spaces of the original with future bass feels before handing it over to premiere on EARMILK.

The original sports playful lyrics like "Hennessey has got you thinking that you’re gonna be/All over me," and PLS&TY delivers playful synth work to match while steering clear of the excessive cheese that has become rather problematic in the world of future bass of late.  About working on the track, PLS&TY says, "I fell in love with Jocelyn Alice’s voice upon first listen! She has a voice that is excitingly inspirational for producers, as it can be manipulated in so many ways and still sound incredible – pitched up/down, vocoded, etc. It is her powerful vocal foundation that really makes it tough to do wrong. Remixing “I Know”, I desired to give the vocal space to glow in the verses & soar in the choruses atop a mighty synth backing. I hope listeners enjoy one of my personal favorite works to date." While the sound of the original may be a little too elemental to find its way into the playlists of all but the trendiest apparel shops, it's a solid bet that you'll hear this one while you're out shopping in the near future.

Released today on Sony Disruptor, "I Know" follows a string of successful releases for PLS&TY across distinguished labels such as OWSLA, Dim Mak, and Island .His biggest hit to date has been "Good Vibes," which topped the US iTunes Electronic Chart.  He's currently traveling coast to coast on his Please And Thank You Tour and just might be playing a city near you!
