Nurko remixes Egzod's "Paper Crowns" into the stratosphere

Don't you just love New Music Friday? Once a week I get a huge influx of amazing new tunes from both heavy-hitters and unheralded, hungry artists on the come-up. That's where Nurko comes in. The NJ-born producer released his remix of Egzod's "Paper Crowns" today, and it's a tearjerker.

Nurko goes the melodic dubstep route with this one, but unlike most producers who tend to pull a page out of Illenium's book, he is able to create his own unique twist on the genre with a crisp lead patch that soars throughout the drop. Nurko has been all over the future bass spectrum in the last year, releasing mellifluous electronic ballads left and right, including his landmark Lowly Palace release "Let Me Go (feat. Alina Renae)." It's no surprise to see him appearing alongside Egzod, who himself has risen among the future bass ranks in recent months. Needless to say, a collaboration between these two would be massive and I wouldn't be surprised if fans started clamoring for one after today. You can get in touch with Egzod and Nurko at the links below.
