Rising R&B singer-songwriter Vanessa Elisha sets it off with her brand new record called "Under My Skin". Teaming up with London based electronic producer LOXE, the two went into the lab and craft something we can call a bold new sound that blends r&b, pop and retro sensibilities. “Under My Skin” is tempting, attractive and confident in every sense from the lush synth driven production, 80s-esque drums and of course Vanessa’s provocative performance. The result makes for a perfect first single to kick off the new year.
While she has collaborated with some of music’s biggest influencers, from “Dark & Lonely” with XXYYXX, to “I Won’t Lie” with Falcons and Ekali and even ad-libbing on Stwo’s haunting 13-minute track “Stages”, this is her first mark on 2018. Her newest record "Under My Skin" is said to be the first of a slew of new singles set to grace our ears over the next few months.
