Fueled by Ramen artist nothing, nowhere has a new heart-wrenching video out right before he kicks off his North American headlining tour. The self-directed video features a man who has been seen in previous nothing, nowhere videos, and once again he is portraying a future version of the 25-year-old New England rapper.
Content of the video appears to be behind-the-scenes footage for a documentary focused on the revitalization of nothing, nowhere's career. The video's ending has the man attempting to hand out his comeback project, and a young person being uninterested . Depression is a large theme throughout much of nothing, nowhere's music. "Ruiner" touches on some of the problems people with depression face such as lack of motivation, indecision, and suicidal thoughts. Production on this track is mostly guitar-based with some pop drums.
nothing, nowhere's 2017 commercial debut album Reaper was released to much praise. "Ruiner" kicks off 2018 for the artist, who will be taking his act around the US this spring on his first headlining tour, along with Jay Vee, Shinigami and Lil Lotus.
