This new visual for "Hellboy" looks like it could be the trailer for Ohio artist, Trippie Redd's arcade cabinet debut.
The video goes back and forth between animated fight scenes set in hellish metro with Trippie as the action hero and a real-life Trippie reenacting the same scenes. Direction on this video was handled by Mamesjao, who collaborated with 88rising on the production. The song is bookended by Trippie's typical melodic chorus with a pretty tight verse to intersect. During the boss fight, he takes a backseat to the visual and lets the instrumental carry him to victory. This Apollo 7evn produced track was featured on Trippie's project from late last year A Love Letter To You 2. The track and visual are a representation of Trippie's come up in Canton, OH, fighting his demons and coming into mainstream success. The 19-year-old has recently collaborated with artists like Travis Scott, Lil Wayne and Kris Wu. Hopefully, we see the same amount of output from the Ohio native in 2018 as last year.
