Enter “bliss” with la lune’s debut self-produced EP

EARMILK are excited to introduce the very talented la lune, a 19 year old singer-songwriter and producer based in Brighton, UK. Her new EP bliss is comfort in sound, a warm cocooning hug from a musical duvet. The piano and her vocals throughout the EP offer a rich wealth of calm. And, to be quite honest, it's hard to see it as anything other than "bliss". Launching her EP last week, la lune sold out her headline show in Brighton. It's hard to believe that the singer-songwriter has only been creating this kind of music for only a year now. The comparisons to contemporary inspirations such as The Japanese House are very relevant. We think it's safe to say la lune is one to keep an eye on.

"I’ve been working on the EP for the past six months – prior to this I’ve just been releasing singles, but I then decided I wanted to release an actual body of work. I don’t know if there’s any specific inspiration behind it. I like to write from experience because I find it really cathartic, so I suppose it’s just a little journal of what the past six months have been like for me." – la lune
