Psychedelic, alternative, pop-rock band All Things Blue (sometimes shortened to ATB) have delivered a poignant piece of art aptly titled "Bite" for our listening and viewing pleasure. While the band has a knack for incorporate multiple genres into their songs, on "Bite" they tap heavily into the indie region. The laid-back unorthodox approach may throw some off, but don't get it misconstrued; the message is clear as day. ATB was inspired by the women marches that occurred after Mr. Trump was sworn in as the 45th president of the U.S of A., the band saw the power that came when women of different races, backgrounds come together for a single unified purpose. It was quite unprecedented, and as ATB put it:
"I felt more proud to be a woman at that moment then I had in any other point in my life thus far. One woman with drive and passion is powerful, when we all work together we are unstoppable, which is what I wanted to portray in this music video. I'm excited to be a part of these changing times."
The visuals for "Bite" showcases solidarity between women in a time that felt uncertain. Always straying from the norm, the offbeat psychedelic aesthetic is also prevalent throughout the video. The L.A based ATB make music that can alter your emotions, take your mind to other places, and make you want to dance all at the same time.
