One of Portland's musical highlights in 2017 was the album Bone Music from artists The Last Artful, Dodgr and Neill Von Tally. The collaborative album between rapper and singer, The Last Artful, Dodgr and producer, Neill Von Tally was one of great creativity and originality. The minimalist production allowed for plenty of room for Dodgr to do her thing, while also setting the right ambiance.
One year after the release of the album later we get the video for "Oofda". This bleak video was directed by the talented, Noah Porter. The story of this track pits Dodgr against the strains of a relationship while also dealing with all of the other factors of life. This ties in with Dodgr's unique voice and disarming writing combine to create the mood of being comfortable with discomfort.
