The UK rap scene has been flourishing in 2018, with rap fans across the globe tuning their ears into the waves coming from the British Isles. The diversity coming out of the UK is something special, with London, Birmingham & Manchester just a few of the cities churning out talented rappers, and today we have a brand new video from one of the slickest up & comers over the pond, KinKai.

Hailing from Manchester, KinKai has been amassing fans and plays incredibly quickly, and his mellow, laid back style has seen his music hailed from critics across the UK. His latest project, Mellow Mermaids & Malibu, is a smooth, slick compilation of tight rhymes and crisp beats that sees KinKai's stock increase even more. His newest video, for "Aztec Gold", see's the young Mancunian mobbing with his friends, with warm hues & dulcet tones perfectly combining for a nicely executed video. The track itself, one of my personal favourites off of the project, is laced with jazzy synths and invigorating drums whilst KinKai raps in the melody-driven style that's seen him set himself apart from his peers.
