2017 is almost over, and I've had a lot of time to reflect on the music discoveries that I really love from this year.
WESLEE is a duo formed with one member being in New York and one member being in London. Wild. Their single "Bathwater" is a beautiful, simmering bop and so is their single "Gassed". They've got this energy that will hook listeners in for being fittingly contemporary while offering a comfort-food pop sound.
Anyways, WESLEE released their single "Boy Like You" a couple days ago and it's definitely got a more different vibe from their past two singles. Whimsical and lighthearted, you'll find yourself humming along to the chorus melody and naturally adding it into your favorite playlists. It will be exciting seeing where WESLEE goes in 2018; they've only released three singles in 2017 but all have been hits around the indie blog circuit and streaming-wise, and for good reason!
