It's an all Euro thing as DJ/producer Miss Nine teams up with Basto for their debut collaboration project entitled EP 1. The project is a two-track body of work that borders around the house, deep house, and electro house genres. The duo kick off with "Deep Deep Down." The groovy house track is a surefire dance floor filler laced with simple yet engaging instrumentation, a thick bass line and of course Nat Conway's encapsulating vocal performance. The second track "I Need U" is an all-out heavy house joint, both super catchy and energetic.
German-born DJ Miss Nine is also known in the modeling/fashion world as Kristin Schrot and kicked off her music career after moving to Amsterdam. She evolved as an artist and DJ while playing alongside masters such as John Digweed, Dave Seaman, Nick Warren, and James Zabiela. Basto Lazy Jay is a prolific Belgian DJ/producer whose name you should have heard of. He is the man behind Azealia Banks "212" joint that launched her into the limelight.
