The trio of Chin Injeti, Anthony Anderson and Steve Smith make up the group known as BrkThBeat. These guys specialize in crafting retro fitted funky songs using modern day tools. The Vancouver based producers and songwriters just dropped their new single "No Show" as the first leak off their upcoming , untitled six track EP.
"No Show" is a prime example of when digital meets analog. The producers dig deep into the golden age of urban music pulling elements from 80's boogie and 70s funk for this tune. Heavy bass line, groovy percussions and dreamy synths are the main ingredients here. This is nothing but pure RetroFuturism funk and much more.
