Hot off the heals of his massive summer hit with Nani Castle "Fuerza" that was a part of OWSLA's: HOWSLA compilation comes Tony Quattro's new EP: Metafour out now on Main Course Records. The New Yorker's 4-track EP features a varied selection of tunes from the heavy handed "Tiger Paw" to the more salsa infused "Brookstown Bamba." "The Boy Who Cried Wolf" is of a tribal minimal ilk complete with sweeping conga rhythms and rounding out the rest of the selection is "Igbese" feat. Nigerian Pidgin Rap Guru, Magugu. "Igbese" delivers a unique sound with a lot of bounce to it. Overall, Tony Quattro created a fascinating blend of New York House infused with an eclectic mix of global dance culture. With his heavy kicks and his snappy snares each of these songs is just as at home in the club as they are in your headphones while you're strutting down the street.
If you're in the Los Angeles area and you dig this sound as much as we do go check out the Main Course family throwing down @ Union Nightclub Friday 10/27.
