New Orleans rapper, Aha Gazelle, just dropped the music video for his latest single, "Back In My Bag." This is the lead single and first video from the forthcoming project, Trilliam 3, set to drop November 3rd. This fresh video premieres on World Star Hip Hop's Heatseakers page and it certainly lives up to the hype. The Latch Lab directed video tells a narrative of Aha returning from death after appearing o kill himself. While the next scene it shows that this is clearly a film production starring Aha. The video aims to attack some issues associated with mental health while still bringing out the strong leader Aha Gazelle is. Aha's city, New Orleans, has a rich history in music and he sites many of the hip hop greats as influences to his style and music. Icons like Lil Wayne, Master P, and Jay Electronica have made an impact on the style of this emerging artist. Aha also focuses on bringing a more positive light to the southern rap scene.
Fellow rapper Lecrae has recently signed the young Louisiana native to his label Reach Records. While they do have slightly different lanes, they are a great fit to be on the same team. Both artist major in authenticity and preach empowerment. These two artist are currently on tour together, ending in Chicago on December 6th.
