From Oakland, California comes yet another rising star to keep your eyes and ears on, introducing Just Rese and his latest video “Groov.”
“Groov” follows a couple dealing with some relationship issues. After some arguing in the car (which is all done in silence thanks to some clever subtitles) they pull over, take some blurred out substance and give in to emotions and the freedom of dance.
Directed by Amira Hadiya and shot by Gino Mancuso, “Groov” is an impressive video for such a green team. Instead of simply throwing together a video featuring random show clips or walking around Oakland, Rese and crew came together to make something with a story and deliver it in an artistic package. Rese himself sounds great providing the background tunes to the story with some choice subtitles popping up to move the narrative along.
