The Bay's hip-hop scene has been buzzing with the abundance of talent emerging, but r&b is not far behind. Meet Bay area native BxRod. The DeepMatter songstress has been dropping soulful, jazz-infused gems over the last few years. Think Amy Winehouse meets Elli Ingram.
In preparation for her debut EP, BxRod has shared the first single "Golden".
"Golden", produced by Canadian producer Chad Desjarlais, is a bass knocking, electro-r&b cut that will have you singing the chorus at the top of your lungs. BxRod's vocals are uniquely soulful and will give you all the r&b vibes you didn't realize you were missing.
Look for BxRod's debut EP Angels soon; but until then, keep "Golden" on rotation.
