The xx closed out 2016 with the announcement of their album, I See You, with the release of the LP's lead track, "On Hold." More recently, English producer, DJ and face of the intersection of indie music and house and electronic music Jamie xx took his hand to the track, transforming it slowly into an immersive, techy house track. Immersive synth play translates into the video, debuted today, that splices together party scenes – some other worldly and some all too familiar.

The track is available as a limited edition via white label 12" vinyl with the b-side as Four Tet's remix of the band's track "A Violent Noise."
