The musical entity/performance artist known as Dean Blunt has become sort of a cult figure with in the underground community thanks to his outlandish persona and prolific musical output with Inga Copeland as Hype Williams and as his latest hip-hop project Babyfather. Dean has also seemingly made a fan of hip-hop trendsetter A$AP Rocky, who is featured on the British artist's newest Babyfather single, "Benzo Amore" (or "Selfish").
The track begins with a haunting synth melody built upon and murky mash of distortion and drum-patterns, until A$AP Rocky's drugged-out vocal crawls in for the refrain. It is one of Dean's more accessible cuts of recent memory, but is so short and sweet that it leaves you fiending for more.
