U.S based producer Kid Konnect pulls a DJ Khaled on his newest body of work. The project which he entitled 'SONNIK: #SYH (Secure Your Happiness)' is a mix bag of 13 tracks. A beautiful blend of afrobeat, Caribbean sounds, hip-hop and electro pop elements.
'SONNIK: #SYH (Secure Your Happiness)' features singer/song-writer Pires Pimeh in a prominent role (he appears on 7 tracks on the project). Other players include German-Nigerian singer (sometimes rapper) Nneka, NY based artist Kahli Abdu , Kid Konnect himself and much more. Tapping into different genres, SONNIK: #SYH delivers a very dynamic sound which takes the listener through various emotions with rich diverse sound textures from the inspirational opener "It's Ok(be You)", the electro trap-ish "Lift Off", the funk-esque"Left-Right" and the atmospheric alcohol influenced "Drinks".
