For fans of the disco era, the marked success of groups like Jungle has been a long time coming. And though fads fade and nothing is forever, disco is coming back with a vengeance, and it's determined to get you on the dance floor.
Pelicandy are one of the bands bringing the sound back to the forefront. The group of friends from London are helping that vintage disco vibe make it's comeback to the indie and pop scene. The bass lines are punchy and Prince-esque, the lyrics are smooth and the tune is catchy and oh-so danceable. A song of the day on Line of Best Fit, "Animals" is also going down as a track of the summer for me. The opening beat is enough to get you on your feet and grooving.
