What a great time to be a house music fan. The genre has experienced quite the resurgence in the last few years, with rise in popularity of the bass-house and tech-house scenes, with acts like Ephwurd, JOYRYDE and Autoerotique all seeing their profiles increase exponentially. Another act that has been getting a lot of new love is the Atlanta based duo Halogen, comprised of native Atlantans Alex Dunkser and Josh Taylor. These guys have been making some of the best, most underrated house music gems for the last few years, but with this new remix, I think they just make some major noise, and of course EARMILK has the premiere just for you.

The track "Shooting Stars" actually fairly old, first debuting on the Bag Raiders' debut EP in 2008. But thanks to the popularity of this viral video of a larger gentleman gracefully diving off a bridge, the song has become brand new again. And yet, Halogen and 8 Graves' cover undoubtedly takes Bag Raiders' version to the next level, reworking it with an accentuated synth-line and vocal effects to give the original track some extra impact. The track is without question a stellar production, and I can't wait to hear it played live in a set. So make sure you check out the track above, and check the links below for more info on your new favorite act.
