Garren Sean is a bay area native (just like the best of us) and is here to bring us some groovy tunes. Garren recently released an animated video titled, "Lift Off" shortly after announcing the release of his LP, GARREN, due out this summer.
The soul filled artist reminds me of a trifecta between Daft Punk x Breakbot & Jai Paul. Garren is reminiscent of some of the most original gangstas of funk yet completely creates his own unique sound. As a self taught musician, he grew up playing numerous instruments and dreamt of being a band, yet didn't have any musical friends. He then learned how to produce and later worked with the legends of SAVEMONEY gang like Joey Purp, Towkio andn Chace the Rapper. On this particular solo track, Garren showcases his genre blending magic by playing a funky guitar, R&B vocals, soulful synths with a lil touch of rock & roll.
