Luscious indie sounds that conjure up images of dust floating lazily in the sunlight on a slow summer day is the way you're going to feel when you listen to Norwegian artist Jakob Ogawa's new single.
Some songs will lead your ears down a rabbit hole of adventures, with fancy trills and catchy synths to keep your brain on edge, riding waves of sound up and down where the flashier the sounds, the better. And then there are songs like "You Might Be Sleeping" an experience similar to staring at a picture that captures a single moment in time. The song stands at less than three minutes, and the addition of 18 year old Boston-based artist Clairo, whose light vocals are like pink icing on the world's lightest cake, is simply delightful.
