It's pretty impressive to look back and realize we just love every one of Pat Lok's releases. From remixes to originals, the Vancouver artist has steadily built a brand of smooth, funky nu disco over the years, and a fanbase to go along with it. But his latest is a reminder that Pat Lok isn't just all disco – he's got more cooking in the form of "Oh No." Featuring vocalist mar|co, "Oh No" takes soul and R&B as ingredients, and maintains that smoothness we love Lok for to churn out a final product that is groovy at its best.
Out via French label favorite Kitsune, "Oh No" follows the release of Pat Lok's My Own Throne in 2016. "Oh No" is his fourth release this year, as we see 2017 as a transformative year already for his music. And it's all to set us up for a bigger release as he prepares to release a new album later this year.
