With the weather looking so nice and sunny on the East Coast (finally), a single like Nina Luna's "Goodbye Forever" is like a nice cool down.
The LA-based singer's new single blends her silky voice with melancholy, slightly experimental production of the hip and trendy type at the moment. When Lex Low's verse comes in, listeners get to hear the two complete sides of this tragic story of a relationship gone downhill. The beginning is captivating, and though the ending feels a bit lazy in how it ends-- production drifts off with "goodbye forever" being echoed before the song ends on a quiet note-- there's something about the mood of this song that is striking.
