It's becoming harder and harder to simply call a rapper a rapper or a singer a singer. An artist is more inclusive of what is actually being created as rappers are taking to singing just as singers are looking to showcase their bars (Drake, Childish Gambino for example). One artist that should be added to that list goes by the name of MAYZiN. The Oakland native's new single, "Ms. Perfect", is proof enough as to why you can't box him in as just a rapper or singer.

MAYZiN connected with producer Pink Slip to create what could be a future R&B hit. From the heavy bass to the hard-hitting snare mixed with the various synths, Pink Slip created the perfect platform for MAYZiN to do what he does best. It definitely gives you a 90's vibe, which is always a plus. Perhaps a MAYZiN and Pink Slip project could be in the future? At least, I hope so after hearing how well their sounds work together.
Expect to hear a lot more from MAYZiN; but until then, keep "Ms. Perfect" on repeat.
