Swedish electronic outfit CANVAS have released new track "Wasting Time," featuring vocalist Tyra through label House Music With Love this past Friday (April 14). CANVAS are a duo comprised of brothers Robin and Andreas Schulz, who've brought a gentler approach to house music on this one, complete with soft, whispering vocals from the up and coming singer.
"Wasting Time" is the last release that the two will be doing as CANVAS, and in anticipation of his new solo venture, Robin has already previewed some new works on a bootleg mixtape featuring Shura, Tove Lo, Astrid S, Duvchi and CAZZETTE. The song showcases the duo's production side one last time, with a steady beat, soaring synths and silky smooth vocals added.
On the song Robin said,
"It feels so great to finally release this track. I hope you guys will like it as much as I do. This track represents the end of an era for CANVAS as you know us. Andreas decided to leave due to other priorities in life and we both thought that this is the best decision for us. There are no hard feelings at all and I will keep pushing CANVAS to new heights. I am super exited for the future and I can't wait to see how this new track and video will be received."
