No strangers to house music with a bass twinge, Hanover based imprint This Ain’t Bristol has long been pushing boundaries through their affinity for artist collaborations, with Billy Kenny leading the charge. Never one to disappoint, tomorrow Friday April 14th, Billy Kenny and This Ain't Bristol are back for another collaborative EP, Billy Kenny & Friends, with Walker & Royce, Kry Wolf, Gotsome, Lowsteppa, Josh Brown, and Kyle Watson each collaborating on one of the tracks of the EP.

With “Rave Cave,” Billy Kenny and Kry Wolf take the track in a decidedly tech direction, with a crisp, bouncy percussion and strong beat driving the way. Soon enough though, tension builds as slightly bright, plucked synths and cascading atmospheric backdrops fill out the track alongside a sweeping bass line the likes of which have come to define the This Ain't Bristol sound. This all provides the perfect backdrop for the incoming vocals that, with their declaratory style reminiscent of Billy Kenny’s “Like 2 Get Weird,” pull the track together in a manner most artists couldn’t achieve.
