Few artists had the kind of year Israeli producer/DJ Khen just had. Particularly in the techno/deep progressive scene, 2016 saw the release of his album One Day of Independence, with Khen emerging as one of the acts to always keep your eyes on. Now that 2017 is here, Khen is looking to keep the momentum going with a steady stream of top notch singles and EPs, mostly recently with the new Baby Steps EP, out now on John Digweed's baby, Bedrock Records.
To further pad out an already impressive catalog of songs, Khen has recruited other super talents in Prog/Tech/House scene to remix his debut album. Diynamic’s Lehar, microCastle’s Luca Bachetti, Anjundadeep’s Patrice Baumel, Kompakt’s Termoment and Lost & Found head honcho Guy J have each reinterpreted their favorite off Khen’s future classic debut.

Starting off the sonic voyage is Luca Bachetti’s groovish take on "Authentica." and "Imaginal Cells" has been repurposed by the Guy J himself. Patrice Baumel takes on "Land of Goshen," and the enigmatic pseudonym Termoment takes on lead-track "One Day of Independence."
But without a doubt, my favorite comes from Lehar. If his melodic and ultra-progressive take on "Prism" doesn't have you grooving, then I don't know what to tell you.
The entire remix package is awesome from beginning to end, and really portends to great things in progressive/Techno arena this year. So check out all the remixes above, and make sure you check the links below for more info on Khen.
