With his enduring skill in creating hypnotic, thumping tech house-come-techno, Cristoph's sound is especially sought after. And this double single, "Make Out/Prisoner", his debut with Brazil's illustrious Warung Recordings is just the type of astute studio mastery we've come to expect from the Brit.

"Make Out" pumps out a rolling groove, with tough, techy and precise drums sitting under the liquid melody that'll raise the energy on any dancefloor. In comparison, "Prisoner", is a muted, dub-mix style track, with tense atmospherics and purring bass-stabs, which makes for an equally pounding cut

The prolific UK producer has been firing on all cylinders the past few years and with this latest offering shows that his foot is firmly on the gas. He's previously notched up releases on labels such as Defected, Material, VIVa, Noir, Toolroom, Trusoul and Knee Deep In Sound to name, quite literally, a few, and will surely continue in the same vein if his current form is anything to go by.

For Warung Recordings, this latest offering is just their second of the year and Cristoph makes it 22 for the superclub's recording division, joining Danny Daze, Wehbba, Marco Resmann and Gui Boratto as contributing artists to their powerful, growing stable.

What do you think? If you like it, then support it! "Make Out/Prisoner" is out now, which you can buy from Beatport here.

Born and raised in London, UK. I cut my teeth on a varied diet of rock/indie, hard house/trance d&b and UK garage, developing an acute taste for house, tech house, and techno, but appreciate electronic music in all its glorious forms. Lucky enough to by DJ Mag's tech house editor, as well as having my views published online by some fantastic music hubs, such as EARMILK and Chase The Compass. I also manage deep and tech house label, Faceless Recordings. Let's GO!
