2017 is proving to be the year of new music from house music's great Armand van Helden. This week, the producer and DJ teamed up with rising stars ANOTR on a new single that delivers on what it promises, "Funk Phenomena." Van Helden is assisting the Dutch duo in a big moment in their careers as well: launching their own label, No Art. "Funk Phenomena" celebrates this launch as its first release, and boy is it memorable. That kind of in your face tech house that will remind you of any night you've found yourself on a dark dance floor, there is a grit to "Funk Phenomena" that is nostalgic and a reminder of house's origins.
"Funk Phenomena" follows Armand van Helden's single "Fried Chicken" with Komes that was released earlier this year.
