The Lagoons drop vibey single "Rainbows" [Premiere]

Austin-based duo The Lagoons create a spectacular vibey mood on their latest single “Rainbows.” Brothers Joey and Ryan Selan have a music background focused in jazz and classic rock, and create a seamless blend of musical styles that transcends genre. The duo officially came into fruition in 2015, and have released two EPs, with a third scheduled for release this spring.

“Rainbows” is yet another example of their hallmark style. It’s a beautiful jazzy, electro-pop fusion with a rock twist. Calm and groovy, smooth vocals dance over glittery snyths and a mellow saxophone. Complete with a guitar and sax solo, “Rainbows” defies expectations and bridges genres. It’s 4 and a half minutes of pure bliss.
