Boldy James for some reason still owns the title of the most slept on MC out of Detroit at the moment. The Mass Appeal Records signee has been on a two year hiatus since the release of his Trapper's Alley 2 mixtape back in 2015, but has decided to make a boisterous return with a whole new EP entitled The Art of Rock Climbing, a 7 track collaborative EP with DJ Butter that details his street experiences and dedication to Detroit.
He has recently released a creative, stop-action lego visual for the funky single "Skantless" featuring Eddie Stubbles, Redi Rock, Tommy Gunz produced by DJ Butter. The video is an animated depiction in the day in the life of a young Boldy James as he runs deals and hits a few licks from Seven Mile to Ford Field in downtown Detroit.
