Top Dawg Entertainment CEO Anthony "Top Dawg" Tiffith told the world that he would be announcing their newest artist in early 2017. On January 19th, it was announced that SiR would be the joining the powerhouse roster and would release a track and video for "W$ Boi" on the same day of the announcement. SiR brings a new style to the heavily rap filled roster. Although he is still talking about repping the west coast and his life growing up right around the corner from ScHoolboy Q's alma mater Figueroa street, he spends the majority of this track singing and showing his heavy r&b influence. With inverted colors during the whole video, this makes for a great experience as SiR takes the watcher on a walk through his old neighborhood.
But he is not done yet, SiR just delivered another brand new track called "Ooh Nah Nah." SiR sticks to his roots on this one with a soulful and very funky instrumental to help showcase his incredible singing voice as well as his songwriting. With help from Masego, this is a track that helps prove why he is the newest signee to join TDE. Check out the new track here:
