Cameos is the last track completing Swimming Tapes' first collection of singles, which makes up their debut EP Souvenirs, which will be released this Friday 27th on Hand in Hive. Cameos sees Swimming Tapes continue in the light, easy-going, Summery vein that has seen London five-piece garner significant acclaim. It has just the right amount of shoegaze and woozy nostalgia; giving rise to their signature dreamy sound and allowing the listener to wallow and bask in their warmth. Reid explains,
“Cameos is about being far away from a person you want to see more of, dragging yourself through the week while wishing you were somewhere else.”
The EP comes alongside news of Swimming Tapes’ debut headline show at London’s Waiting Room on Thursday 13th of April.
