Kbit is certainly a budding producer if you take a look at his social media. With under 1,000 followers just about across the board, the Melbourne-based artist might seem like he's a newbie. But if you look at his body of work, it proves otherwise. He's just released his second album, the aptly and informatively titled Future Yesterday, via Bandcamp.
A storybook journey through new wave, progressive and electronica, each element of Future Yesterday is organic, budding with eye-opening opennness in soundscape. Each track stands out on its own, but together, furthers the accomplishment of the album's unspoken mantra. While we haven't heard of Kbit before this week, we'll be paying attention from now on.
