London Grammar return with epic ballad "Rooting for You"

Hannah Reid and her bandmates have been off the scene for almost 4 years now, graciously riding the past few off of their debut London Grammar album If You Wait. As a personal favorite, their absence has been felt in my household, as we've longed for the cinematic ballads the band creates since the initial drop. As of last week, the wait is over with the band's new release of "Rooting for You".

The new single offers less production variation, but shows how large and hollow their music can be behind Hannah's vocals. We center in on a small orchestra (in the video) with Hannah performing acapella. The song then transforms into standard London Grammar fashion, giving meaning to the want we've harbored for so long.

You can watch the video below, as well as stream the new single on Spotify. Looks like 2017 will be showing us a follow up to If You Wait, which is something that paints a good picture for the new year.
